Stephen Wallace P.Geo.
President, CEO and Director
Stephen Wallace, P.Geo., has over 30 years of mineral exploration and development experience from grassroots evaluation through to mine development throughout Canada and internationally exploring for a wide range of commodities including gold, cobalt, lithium, silver, copper, base metals, rare earths and platinum group elements.
Mr. Wallace held the position of Senior VP, Exploration and Director of Trade Winds Ventures Inc. (TSXV: TWD) a gold exploration company, which was acquired by Detour Gold Inc. in 2012 for $84.0 million. Prior to working with Trade Winds, Mr. Wallace was the President and CEO of Castle Resources Inc. Throughout his career, Stephen has held management and technical positions with government agencies, major and junior resource companies including Goldcorp, BHP and Noranda.
Stephen is a Professional Geologist holding a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa and is a registered Professional Geoscientist with accreditation from the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO). In addition, he serves on the Convention Planning Committee of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).
John Kerr, P.Eng. Geologist
Mr. Kerr graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1964 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) degree in Geological Engineering. He has participated in the mining industry continuously since graduation as an exploration geologist. His expertise is epithermal and sedex-hosted precious metal deposits in the southwest United States, strata controlled gold deposits and porphyry copper/gold/molybdenum deposits of the western Cordillera and VMS deposits in all areas of North America. Successful ventures include recognition and discovery of the Santa Fe gold mine, identification of the Calvada gold mine located on the northern boundary of the New Canyon property, and discovery of the Mindora gold/silver deposit, all located in Nevada. He is also credited with early identification of two VMS deposits at the Rambler Mine in Newfoundland and recognition of the Frasergold strata controlled gold deposit in British Columbia. Mr. Kerr has served as a director of numerous public companies and is currently a Director of Quaterra Resources (NYSE Amex: QMM, TSX.V: QTA) and Bravada Gold Corp (TSX-V:BVA).
James Yates is an independent businessman with extensive experience in resources and development. Mr. Yates founded Hycroft Resources & Development Corporation, which developed the Crofoot property in Nevada,a gold heap leach producer for over 20 years, known as the Hycroft mine. He is a founding director of Alpha Exploration, which developed a uranium deposit and merged with Fission Uranium with a valuation of $189 million in 2013. As a director of Nevada Geothermal over $200 million was raised for the development of a geothermal plant. Mr. Yates has continuously been involved in establishing and financing numerous public companies.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Bordian is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the University of Manitoba. He has worked primarily in the mineral and exploration and oil and gas industries over the past 20 years. He has managed all aspects of the accounting and finance operations, and compliance. He is currently an officer on two other public companies.
